The Most Frequently Asked Marketing Questions
Q: What is the most effective marketing campaign aimed at new prospects?
Answer: The creation of your Core Unique Positioning Statement, which defines why your company is different than any other company in your industry, is the best place to begin. Until prospects are clear about how your company stands out and why your company is the best choice none of your marketing campaigns can be effective. Your company must have very specific reasons why you are the business of choice.
Q: What is grassroots marketing?
Answer: Most businesses create a marketing message and attempt to appeal to large masses of people with their message. Grassroots marketing is a much better way to market because instead of trying to appeal to many audiences you instead aim your marketing messages to a small group of people in the hopes that this highly target group will then spread your marketing message to a larger audience.
Q: Explain what a drip campaign is?
Answer: Drip marketing is where you use a series of automated emails by use of autoresponders that are pre-scheduled and that go to your target audience over a period of time. You continue to drip content to your target audience in the hopes that at some point they will be inspired and ready to purchase your products or services. The goal is to reach your prospects many times to peak their interest and catch them when they are poised to purchase. You can also use drip emails as a marketing method to build a relationship with prospects and to create goodwill, as well.
Q: What are the most successful social media campaigns?
Answer: Social media is the least expensive and most effective way to develop an interested audience of potential buyers. Social media should be designed with one goal in mind – to bring you more of the right prospects by getting more traffic to your website or a landing page. Social media posts that send traffic to an opt-in page that has a compelling offer is the number one way to create traffic. My favorite social media channel is Facebook and I’m a big fan of using Facebook pay per click because it is really easy, really quick and really effective, too. If your audience is professionals you can also use LinkedIn pay per click. One of the reasons I favor Facebook is because it offers great consumer data and advanced targeting so your ads can get directly in front of the right prospects. Social media advertising gives you a great opportunity to get your marketing message in front of your target audience so you can generate leads.
