Stop Wasting Money On Facebook Ads!
Several years ago I figured out how to use Facebook without spending a dime on ads and without being promotional. I discovered that I was getting tons of highly qualified targeted prospective client family members raising their hands once I rolling. I then figured out how to systematize what I was doing and finally I have been teaching and sharing my proprietary method with thousands of people who get the same results I have been getting which is proof my formula can work for anyone.
In this article, I will share the essence of my formula which you can begin to use in your business. If you have not yet watched the entire training I have done on this, I suggest you enroll in this training right now.
Let’s begin with Facebook basics.
What To Post – Where To Post
I find that most people have no idea what to post on Facebook and so they post without having a game plan. I suggest you post on your personal page (business pages aren’t given much exposure without ads) and that you establish your own Facebook group. The Facebook group should be titled for “who” will get “what result”. As an example, Dentists Marketing Sales Help, Mom’s Over 40 Who Want To Drop 10 Pounds. Notice both names mention the exact target audience I am seeking and the exact result that the group wants.
My own group is a branded group and I do not recommend you do this unless you have an established brand in your niche. In my case, Heart-repreneur® is a brand and so is “Terri Levine” in my industry. If you are not a member of this community, join right now, as you will be modeling my success as a member of the group.
Once you start your group you want to invite and not simply add people. Invite your email list, invite your FB friends, invite prospective client family members and client family members and ask your current and past client family members to also invite the right people to your group. I never worry about how big the group is. I focus on engagement in the group.
To get engagement you must know what to post. I suggest you post some text-only posts, some meme or photo posts, some videos, and that you also regularly do Facebook lives.
In a text-only post, you want to give the post a headline and a subhead as well. You can share a story or give a lesson or talk about what the number one pain is for members of this group and give suggestions to reduce their pain or move them towards their goals. Every text post needs to have a call to action that you want your Facebook group member to take. Don’t sell. Give them value, like “watch my free training now“.
When you use photos or memes in a post you will again use a headline and put in a description of the post. I make most of my memes with Adobe Spark and there are many other services that are similar. The images in this article were all made using Adobe Spark.
I put a short video in my group each day, Monday through Friday. My videos are transparent and real and engaging and I seek to teach one thing to my community. I aim to help them and to enhance our connection and I end with a call to action some of the time. These videos are short and to the point and they allow the people in my group to see that I create value and I have their answers.
I also do regular Facebook Lives where I share information about myself or my beliefs or I give business advice. I talk about what I stand for and if I mention people in my Facebook Lives I will tag them as well. I have all my client family members do Lives for 30 days. Be consistent so your group can get to know you, like you and trust you. In my group, I will sometimes offer free support in my group during a certain day or time and people can comment and ask questions while I am Live. I also engage with everyone who shows up on the Live and I chat with them and ask them questions and respond to their comments.
I often ask questions in my group to get more engagement and to engage my community. I might ask what their number one challenge is or if they want to know my number one Facebook hack.
The above is a formula for how to use Facebook groups for marketing. I recommend you follow this formula and then fine-tune your message using Facebook groups as you engage with your audience and see what they are seeking from you and what results they want from your product or services.

Free Leads On Facebook?
Remember at the start of this article I told you that I do about a million a year from Facebook with no ads? So how do I make money and get free leads? Simple.
After each post, I respond to every single comment. I see where people might need help and I provide help in the group. I am adding content each day with my posts and then adding value and showing my expertise by responding to all members who comment on my posts in my group. I don’t sell or market to or at my group members.
They get to interact with me and can decide if they have questions or want to know more about the work I do. I send everyone in my group to my free course and from there they can raise their hand and ask to speak with one of our business strategists who can see if we can help them or not. It is simple and easy and brings us ideal prospective client family members each day. No ads. No selling. No marketing.
And if they choose to speak with one of our strategists it is not a sales pitch in disguise.
How To Monetize A Facebook Group
Once you have your group and are following my posting system you can really begin to monetize your Facebook group. Occasionally you can post a random offer. You can post an event, a course, a program, a sale, or anything else you want that your group members might be interested in. I don’t recommend you do this very often and when you do post an offer make it a super juicy and special offering. I have offered one of my best training programs for less than half to group members on occasion, as an example.
If I believe that some folks really need the training I tag them in the post. If I know some of my raving client family members will tell others about the value of that offering, I also tag them in the post. I recently did a special training and tagged the members that I felt would be ideal for the training and also tagged some of my client family members who I knew would want to know about the training.
Now, I am going to reveal one of the biggest secrets of my Facebook training program! I make a point of spending 20 minutes every single day reacting to other people’s posts and commenting on them. I do that in my group and on my personal and business pages. I also look below all posts and read other people’s comments below the original posts and I comment on those as well. If any of people on my personal or business page seem aligned with my group, I use Facebook messenger and invite them to join the group. I only invite 3 to 5 people each day so I am not spamming. I only invite people I believe will add value to my group and are prospective client family members.
Okay, I just decided to reveal another HUGE secret that I never give away for free. I hold events in my group and I create events tied to my group and then I invite ALL my Facebook friends to the event. I have a secret code that allows me to invite ALL my friends at once (that secret I will reserve for my client family members, only).
The last Facebook event I did I invited my 5,000 friends to the event using the code. I then held the event with over 400 people attending the online event. I also held an in-person event a few months ago and also invited my 5,000 friends to that event and sold-out the 45 tickets I had available for that event with no advertising.
I am very careful not to come across as trying to sell people or to pitch people. I have no interest in that. I use (and teach) reverse marketing where people raise their hands and decide if they are interested in something and if they are they either buy, enroll, show up or let you know. I am interested in connecting with people heart-to-heart and being interested not interesting. I want to build relationships with people and to give value to my friends on Facebook and in my group. I simply engage with people to find out what I can do to serve them and if I have what they are looking for I share what I have for them and if not I send them to other resources or people I might be aware of.
