Hi there, Terri Levine here, Modern Coaching Method podcast. Today, I want to talk to you about your web marketing because your web marketing is what truly allows you to build an asset. And that asset will increase in value, and it will pay you massive, massive dividends. Well, paid advertising depreciates very, very quickly. So, I love organic, and that’s why here at the Modern Coaching Method, we talk about reverse marketing. Go back to some episodes if you missed them, and make sure you subscribe. So, the best way to build your assets is one asset at a time. And great web marketing is an important asset because it allows people to get to know you, like you, and trust you, which you’ve heard about, right?
And you want to have one piece and only one piece of flagship content that becomes the cornerstone of your web marketing. I want you to think of your website as the hub for all of your marketing. So, there are three main ways that people will find you in your website, which is what you want as a coach or a consultant.
The first is via search using a search engine, which means you have to understand how to target the right keywords. Most people have the wrong meta tags, and they never get found. The second thing is you have to have a certain amount of backlinks. If you don’t know what that is, you need to. And the third way that people will find your hub, your website, is through social media. I will tell you that, in my experience, it’s the quality content of that one cornerstone marketing piece that will snowball and will build momentum in your marketing.
So, you need to have a web strategy planning template, you need to have an understanding of inbound marketing methodologies, and we’re here to help you with that.
